Meet the Doctors
Dr. Jody Morse & Dr. Mike Doyle
Dr. Jody Morse graduated from the University of Illinois Dental School in 1998. She began her career in dentistry in 1989 as a dental assistant and has enjoyed patient care ever since. Some of her accomplishments include teaching dental hygiene school in Jacksonville, North Carolina, as well as developing research and treatment for immunocompromised patients through the University hospital in Illinois. Dr. Jody is the lead diagnostician in the practice and sees all new patients as well as returning patients for their exams. Patients enjoy Dr. Jody’s gentle and friendly chair-side manner. It is her goal to help patients by teaching the importance of good oral health.
Dr. Mike developed an interest and respect for dentistry at an early age working for his father’s dental lab. He graduated from the University of Illinois Dental School in 2000 and then spent an additional two years earning an associate fellowship from the Academy of GP Orthodontics in Texas. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the Academy of Orthodontics for General Dentists. Dr. Mike does limited orthodontic treatment, crowns, fillings, dentures and cosmetic work and would love to see you have a beautiful healthy smile.
Dr. Mike and Dr. Jody are married and moved to North Carolina in 2005 from Chicago where they had a thriving practice in River Forest. They currently live in Stokesdale on a horse farm with their two dogs, four horses, three cats and five miniature Mediterranean donkeys. Dr. Jody rides her horses and competes as an amateur in dressage and Dr. Mike loves his tractor, skid steer and spends his free time watching NASCAR.
Dr. Zachary Vance
Dr. Zac Vance grew up just down the road in Statesville NC. He received his Bachelors at Wake Forest University and a Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry from East Carolina University. During his rotations he traveled from the mountains to the coast practicing under incredible clinic directors and mentors quickly realizing how much he wanted to be back in the Triad. His desire in dentistry is to become a partner with his patients in fostering health starting from the mouth. A patient is so much more than teeth in a mouth. He has been trained and enjoys surgical, periodontal, endodontic, and general procedures.
Just before starting at Morse and Doyle, Lindsay did him the honor of becoming his wife. They share in their love of hiking and the outdoors. Zac is still trying to scratch the itch of fly fishing and mountain biking and is looking for any pointers you might have.
Jim Parham, DDS
Dr. Jim Parham has practiced dentistry for more than 30 years both in private practice and as an instructor at the University of Tennessee Dental College in Memphis and also teaches locally at Forsyth Tech. He moved to North Carolina after selling his successful private practice in Bartlett, Tennessee. Dr. Jim enjoyed practicing in North Carolina as a locum tenens dentist in multiple practices prior to joining Dr. Mike and Dr. Jody. Dr. Jim has had extensive training in (and enjoys) surgical and endodontic procedures along with the typical general practice of fillings and crowns. His hobbies include raising and training his three dogs and music, particularly jazz and percussion. He also performs with local bands in his spare time.
Leslie Lundquist, DDS
I grew up in Hickory Hills, Illinois and went to the University of Iowa where I graduated with both my Bachelors and Doctor in Dental Science degrees. I began my dental career teaching at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and in private practice in Iowa.
During my early career, I married my husband, David, and had 3 children, Michael, 37, Adam, 34, and Daniel, 29. Our family moved to Winston Salem, NC in 1988. I was in private practice there until I sold it in 2007. Since then I have worked as a "fill-in" dentist around the triad area and as a Clinical Dentist at Forsyth Technical Community College, before becoming an associate at Morse & Doyle three days a week.
I love the practice of General Dentistry because I meet a variety of patients from kids to 80+ that I can develop a lighthearted professional relationship with. Each patient presents a new opportunity to provide a wide variety of services for which is not only rewarding for the patient, but for the entire dental team too!
My interests now include my 2, soon to be 3, grandchildren, family time, knitting, gardening, movies, yoga and walking. I love to travel and have enjoyed sailing and snorkeling on catamarans in Greece, Panama, and several Caribbean islands with a group called Tradewinds Cruise Club.
